It seeks to make the professions recognised, respected and accepted as providing a valuable and indispensable service to organisations in South Africa and the Southern African Region.

Overview

The purpose of the Accredited Consulting Practice (ACP)  is to provide Practices with a globally recognized accreditation that will allow prospective clients seeking the services of consultants in the broad spectrum of consulting, the opportunity to deal with a practice that voluntarily elected to adhere to a Professional Code of Ethics, holding them to a high standard.

The standards for the Accredited Consulting Practice are established by the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes (ICMCI) and implemented by each Institute participating in the program internationally. The ICMCI will ensure Institute compliance with these standards as part of the triennial Institute assessment; thus only full members of the ICMCI will be eligible to participate in the Accredited Consulting Practice program. To become a member of the ICMCI, you have to be a member of the Institute of Management Consultants and Master Coaches of South Africa (IMCSA).

Organizations who are successful in being recognized as an Accredited Consulting Practice will be added to a global register of Accredited Consulting Practices maintained by the ICMCI and IMCSA and will be entitled to use the designation “Accredited Consulting Practice” in their promotional materials including the use of an ICMCI approved Accredited Consulting Practice logo.  Accredited Consulting Practices may wish to develop unique partnering arrangements with approved clients to mutually develop agreements that promote the services of the Certified Management Consultant (CMC) 

Standards for the Accredited Consulting Practice

The Standard for the Accredited Consulting Practice is set out in the below mentioned  documents, and will be made available to you when you submit your application request. These  documents outline details of the Accredited Consulting Practice and provide the basic standards against which approval will be based.

  1. The Practice Application form
  2. The Consulting Competency Framework
  3. The Professional Code of Ethics
  4. The “Equivalency Checklist” for the Accredited Consulting Practice designed for assessing Practice’s compliance with the Accredited Consulting Training Practice scheme requirements.

It is anticipated that the above standards will be developed and updated, on an ongoing basis, and will be based on the experience of early implementation by Institutes.

Overview

The purpose of the Accredited Consulting Training Practice (ACTP) program is to provide Institutes with a globally recognized accreditation that will allow prospective clients seeking training in areas of the Certified Management Consultant (CMC) competency framework to have a level of assurance in those offering and delivering such materials.

The standards for the ACTP are established by the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes (ICMCI) and implemented by each Institute participating in the program. The ICMCI will ensure Institute compliance with these standards as part of the triennial Institute assessment; thus only full members of the ICMCI will be eligible to participate in the ACTP program.

Organizations who are successful in being recognized as an ACTP will be added to a global register of ACTP’s maintained by the ICMCI and will be entitled to use the designation “ACTP” in their promotional materials including the use of an ICMCI approved ACTP logo. ACTP’s may wish to develop unique partnering arrangements with approved clients to mutually develop education and training programs that promote the CMC competency framework as well as the CMC designation.

 

Standards for the
Accredited Consulting Training Practice

The Standard for the Accredited Consulting Training Practice is set out in the below mentioned  documents, and will be made available to you when you submit your application request. These two documents outline details of the Accredited Consulting Training Practice and provide the basic standards against which approval will be measured:

  1. The “Accredited Training Provider Scheme” provides background to the program and the requirements that organizations wishing to become an Accredited Consulting Training Practice must satisfy.
  2. The “Equivalency Checklist” for the Accredited Consulting Training Practice,  designed for assessing Practice’s compliance with the Accredited Consulting Training Practice scheme requirements.
  3. The signing of the Professional Code of Ethics as a practice.

It is anticipated that the above standards will be developed and updated, on an ongoing basis, and will be based on the experience of early implementation by Institutes.

The purpose of the Accredited Coaching Practice (ACP) program is to provide Companies with a recognized accreditation that will allow prospective clients seeking training in specific areas of Corporate Training and Development, access to the Certified Master Coaches (MC) network.

These practices are measured against a competency framework, and provides a level of assurance in those offering and delivering such training materials.

Organizations who are successful in being recognized as an Accredited Coaching Practice will be added to a  register of Accredited Coaching Practice’s maintained by the IMCSA and will be entitled to use the designation “Accredited Coaching Practice” in their promotional materials including the use of an IMCSA approved Accredited Coaching Practice logo.

Organizations may wish to develop unique partnering arrangements with the IMCSA to mutually develop education and training programs that promote the Master Coach

Standards for the Accredited Coaching Practice

The standards for the Accredited Coaching Practice are established by the Institute of Management Consultants & Master Coaches of South Africa (IMCSA) and implemented during the application process.

Accredited Coaching Practices will be required to sign and adhere to the Professional Code of Conduct.

The high standards that the Accredited Coaching Practice have to achieve and maintain is monitored by the IMCSA assessors on an ongoing basis.

The “Accredited Coaching Practice” application process is very stringent ensuring that our Master Coach certification program remains of the highest quality.

It is anticipated that the above standards will be developed and updated, on an ongoing basis, based on the experience of early implementation by IMCSA with other Accredited Coaching Training Practices.

The purpose of the Accredited Coaching Training Practice (ACTP) program is to provide Coaching & Training Companies with a recognized accreditation that will allow prospective clients seeking training in specific areas of Corporate Training and Development, access to the Certified Master Coaches Training schemes provided by these Practices to ensure their staff is trained to the highest standard. These coaching Training Practices are measured against a competency framework, and provide a level of assurance in those offering and delivering such training materials.

The standards for the Accredited Coaching Training Practices are established by the Institute of Management Consultants & Master Coaches of South Africa (IMCSA) and implemented during the application process.
